Anne Nyström is a lawyer with a strong background in intellectual property, contract law and dispute resolution with a focus on trademark and brand protection, enforcement, and commercialization. Anne advises on trademark clearance searches and filing strategies and manages global trademark portfolios.

She represents clients in trademark prosecution in the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the Finnish Patent and Registration Office and the Swedish Patent and Registration Office. Anne also acts as a litigator in the Finnish and European Union courts representing clients in trademark related cases.

Anne has successfully represented various clients in the EUIPO Board of Appeals, WIPO domain name dispute resolution procedures, national PTOs, and the Finnish Market Court, as well as helped her clients to settle numerous disputes out-of-court.

In addition to trademark law, Anne negotiates, drafts and comments on various types of commercial agreements and handles domain name disputes in UDRP and related proceedings. Her practice areas also include marketing law, consumer law and unfair business practices.

Anne has worked with various types of clients ranging from major companies and brand owners to startups, SMEs, and non-profit organizations. Anne provides practical, innovative and strategic advice to the clients.
